A seara não precisa de mais trabalhadores.Mateus 3.

Nesta quarta-feira (16/06/2010) a Palavra ministrada em nossa igreja foi baseada no texto do Evangelho de São Mateus capítulo 9.35 a 38. Confesso aos irmãos que já fiz a exposição deste trecho bíblico outras vezes em locais e situações diferentes. Entendo que além do descritivo bíblico, o Senhor sempre nos acrescenta informações que visam abençoar nosso cotidiano na contextualização da mensagem. Mas desta vez confesso que me surpreendi, não com esses acréscimos, mas com a importância que o contexto tomou na medida que identificamod dentro do trecho selecionado, a ênfase da história.


Em todas as outras vezes, sempre dei destaque ao versículo trinta e oito, onde Jesus nos orienta a rogar ao Pai por mais trabalhadores: “Rogai, pois, ao Senhor da seara que mande trabalhadores para a sua seara”. Desta vez, entretanto, entendi que a ênfase deste texto está na verdade no versículo trinta e sete: “E, então, se dirigiu a seus discípulos: A seara, na verdade é grande, mas os trabalhadores são poucos”.

Olhando por esta ótica, podemos entender o que realmente está por trás da expressão “mas os trabalhadores são poucos”. Ela não declara implicitamente que número de trabalhadores é pequeno, mas que muitos no nosso meio só têm o título (trabalhadores, cristãos, evangélicos), sem, contudo, exercerem alguma função dentro do Reino ligado a seara.

Não devemos orar ao Pai para pedir mais trabalhadores, se a necessidade existente é decorrente da nossa ausência na seara. Não serão novos trabalhadores que suprirão nossa falta, mas uma mudança de entendimento de nossa parte em relação ao que é o Reino de Deus e como Ele deve ser vivido nesta etapa de sua manifestação.

Muitos irmãos confundem ir a Igreja com atuação no Reino e suor na seara. Evidentemente não serão todos pastores, evangelista... mas não há exceção quando a questão é sermos súditos do Reino. Nossa atuação precisa ir além de simplesmente freqüentar os cultos, o que às vezes acontece em clima de ritual, sem entendimento do que é cultuar Deus. Se você é de verdade um participante do Reino dos Céus, como nos fala são Mateus, ou Reino de Deus como nos declara os outros evangelistas, precisa exercer sua cidadania começando por mudar sua visão deste Reino. Você foi chamado para servir, para trabalhar na seara de Deus independente de vocação, até porque, como citamos acima, todos nós fomos vocacionados para edificar esse Reino a cada dia onde estivermos.Nossa atividade profissional, acadêmica, familiar e outras, não podem justificar a ausência de nosso suor nos campos que já estão branqueados.

Depois de você ter feito isso, aprender a suar no campo, se ainda assim olhar à sua volta e perceber a necessidade de novos trabalhadores, desfrute do versículo trinta e oito, ore ao Pai para que outros colaboradores da obra de Deus e da "sua", sejam enviados para essa grande seara.

harvest does not need more workers.
On Wednesday (16/06/2010) taught the Word in our church was based on the text of the Gospel of Matthew chapter 9:35 to 38. I confess to our brothers who have made the exhibition of this biblical passage at other times in different places and situations. I understand that beyond the biblical description, the Lord always adds information designed to bless our daily lives in the contextualization of the message. But this time I was surprised, not with these additions, but with the importance of identifying within the selected section the emphasis of the story.

At all other times, always gave prominence to verse thirty-eight, where Jesus tells us to pray to the Father for more workers: "Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest." This time, however, understood that the emphasis of this text is actually in verse thirty-seven; "And then he said to his disciples, The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few."

Looking from this perspective, we can understand what really lies behind the words "but the workers are few." It does not state implicitly that the number of employees is small, but many among us have only the title (workers, Christians, evangelicals), but without exercising any function within the Kingdom on the harvest.

We should pray to the Father to ask for more workers if the need exists is due to our absence in the harvest. There will be new employees who will supply our fault, but a change of understanding on our part as to what is the kingdom of God and how He should be experienced in this stage of its manifestation.
Many confuse brothers go to church with operations in the Kingdom and sweat on the harvest. Of course not all are pastors, evangelist ... but there is no exception when it comes to being subjects of the Kingdom. Our work must go beyond simply attending services, which sometimes happens in an atmosphere of ritual, without understanding what is to worship God. If you really are a participant in the Kingdom of Heaven, as Matthew tells us are, or Kingdom of God as stated in the other evangelists need to exercise their citizenship by first changing your view of this kingdom. You are called to serve, to work on the likes of God regardless of vocation, because, as quoted above, we were all geared towards building the Kingdom every day estivermos.Nossa career, academic, family and others, can not justify the absence of our sweat on the fields that are already blanched.
